Some indeed preach Christ from envy and rivalry, but others from good will. The latter do it out of love, knowing that I am put here for the defense of the gospel. The former proclaim Christ out of selfish ambition, not sincerely but thinking to afflict me in my imprisonment.
On Sunday, June 2, Bethlehem hosted a panel discussion: "Standing Firm in the Evil Day."
The idea for the panel came after Minnesota became the latest state to legalize so-called same-sex marriage, recognizing that many Christians are concerned about the implications of this decision and the wider cultural shift that it represents. Panelists discussed the legal, practical, cultural, and theological dimensions of living as faithful Christians in the current day.
