Tim grew up in a Christian home and was drawn to Christ at a young age. A graduate of Bethel College, Tim married Candace in 1978. They have two adult children, Laura and Jon, and live in Lakeville. Tim's passion for Christ and love for the ministry of the Word has grown deeper through various struggles he has gone through, including the deaths of loved ones, job loss, and financial loss through fire.

Tim & Candace came to Bethlehem in 2002, becoming members in 2004, and have worshipped at the South Site since its inception in 2006. Since coming to Bethlehem, Tim has participated in teaching Adult Sunday School and been the leader of two small groups. His desire is to be a faithful, obedient, and joyful child of God in everything he does.
