See what kind of love the Father has given to us, that we should be called children of God; and so we are. The reason why the world does not know us is that it did not know him. [Beloved, we are God’s children now, and what we will be has not yet appeared; but we know that when he appears we shall be like him, because we shall see him as he is.]
former Minister for Resources & Program Development
Campus: All Campuses
Sally’s ministry has been marked by a passion for developing God-centered resources for the spiritual development of children in the home and at church. Today, all the curriculum currently being used in our Sunday School and midweek classes was developed at Bethlehem in a way that reflects the passion for truth and the theological and doctrinal convictions that have defined our church for three decades. This curriculum is now being used in hundreds of churches across the country and in various parts of the world through the ministry of Children Desiring God.
Sally’s childhood years were spent in Virginia, Rhode Island, and Ecuador. She met David at Nyack College where she graduated in 1976 with a BS in Christian Education. Sally & David have two adult daughters. Amy is married and mother of three children (Anna, Katie and Joshua) living in Louisville, Kentucky where her husband, Gary, is studying for a PhD in church history. Kristi is a nurse living in Minneapolis
