One thing have I asked of the LORD, that will I seek after: that I may dwell in the house of the LORD all the days of my life, to gaze upon the beauty of the LORD and to inquire in his temple. [For he will hide me in his shelter in the day of trouble; he will conceal me under the cover of his tent; he will lift me high upon a rock.]
Former Downtown Campus Elder
Having recently served two consecutive three-year terms as an elder at Bethlehem, Paul is on a sabbatical year in 2014.
Paul and his wife, Pattie, have attended Bethlehem since the Spring of 1998. They have two believing daughters who each have four children; one daughter lives in Minnetonka and one in Bloomington. Paul accepted Jesus Christ as his Savior at Northern Pines Family Camp in August 1976 and, thereafter, spent six years in Bible Study Fellowship. From 1978 to 1988 Paul & Pattie were members of Grace Church Edina.
From 1988 to 1997 they lived in the Chicago area where Paul was an elder at Winnetka Bible Church. Paul worked in the Information Technology department of Park Nicollet and is now retired. He serves as the leader of a small group in the West metro and in one-on-one discipleship.
Paul & Pattie have served on the prayer team, and Paul has served as a head usher and Pattie has been active in women’s ministries. Paul & Pattie love the uncompromising truth from Scripture that is preached at Bethlehem every week and the passion for Jesus Christ that is evident among the believers.
