Unless the LORD builds the house, those who build it labor in vain. Unless the LORD watches over the city, the watchman stays awake in vain.
Be involved in the global outreach work around the world—opportunities abound for investing in our global partners and their ministries while remaining stateside.
Prayer is one of the most important aspects of global outreach, and we have a number of different ways for people to pray for our global partners.
- Pray for our Global Partner of the Week during your personal and family devotions.
- Pick up a Global Partner Prayer Calendar at the Welcome Desk to pray for all of our 100+ global partners during the year. This resource includes the Fighter Verse to help you both memorize Scripture and pray it over our global partners.
- Contact our global partners directly to receive prayer updates and newsletters from them. If you do write to our global partners, be sure to read through our guidelines for missions communication.
A Barnabas Team is a small group (6–12) of committed people who come together to care for their global partner or global partner family in a variety of ways, striving to help meet their physical, emotional, and spiritual needs. It is a group of people with whom the global partner can be open and honest, allowing them to see his or her needs and to share in successes and defeats. Contact the Global Outreach department (global@hopeinGod.org) if you are interested in joining a Barnabas Team.
