November 3 is Orphan Sunday

There are an estimated 153,000,000 orphans worldwide and these vulnerable children are among the poorest of the poor, utterly unable to help themselves. These children are often hidden or overlooked, and this weekend emphasis seeks to bring their situation into the light. In addition to the awareness and prayer offered in the worship services, opportunities to get involved will be made available on all campuses.

The MICAH Fund, established in 1990, was born out of a need to facilitate the adoption of minority children whose birthparents desired to voluntarily release them in adoption. The fund provides financial assistance for qualified adoptive parents in Minnesota and the surrounding states of North Dakota, South Dakota, Iowa, and Wisconsin for the payment of fees to those agencies who are committed to providing quality services to birthparents, their children, and prospective Christian parents. Bethany Christian Services

3025 Harbor Lane N #316
Plymouth, MN 55447

At Bethany Christian Services, we believe every child is loved by God and that God created families for the nurture and care of children. We believe children thrive best in families. By God's grace, we strive every day to be the hands and feet of Jesus—working toward a world where every child, everywhere, has a loving family. We strive to do this through Domestic Infant Adoption, International Adoption, Foster Care Adoption, International Foster-to-Adopt ministries. Through family preservation services, we strive to help families develop necessary skills, overcome their circumstances, and become able to keep their family together. Family preservation services include Foster Care, Safe Families for Children (SFFC), Refugee Services, Family Strengthening Services, and International Training and Partnerships. In addition, we strive to help children and families address challenges in their life through Pregnancy Counseling, Caring Connection, Stepping Stones, Family & Individual Counseling, Post-Adoption Services, and Trauma-Based Counseling.

We believe God is calling families from His church in Minnesota to step forward and become families for 500 waiting children in the next three years...350 from the Minnesota foster care system and 150 from around the world. Would you join us in reaching this goal?

Hope for Orphans
2001 W. Plano Parkway Suite #3442
Plano, TX 75075

Hope for Orphans is a ministry of Family Life.

We educate Christians about God's heart for orphans and encourage them to practice what God calls in James, chapter one, "pure and undefiled religion" -- caring for orphans in their distress.

We provide simple, practical, and biblically-based resources that help local church lay leaders launch and develop orphans ministries in their churches.

We build strategic relationships with key organizations that we share with local churches as they respond to God's mandate to care for the orphan.

ABBA Fund exists to glorify God as one of His instruments in helping the fatherless (James 1:27).

We believe that the best environment for the raising and training of children is in a godly home with a father and mother. ABBA Fund provides interest-free covenant loans to Christian couples who are called by God to expand their families through adoption and who need help with the “cash flow crunch” posed by adoption expenses.
