What Is Arcing?

The Bible has meaning. Its writers meant something. A profoundly useful method for unpacking the meaning of the writers is called “arcing,” which has been used by Pastor John for decades in teaching the Bible.

Anyone can explore arcing at biblearc.com (a ministry of Bethlehem College and Seminary) for a three minute and fifty-one second video description by John Piper.

When I asked Tom Steller, Dean of Bethlehem College and Seminary, why something as eye-opening as arcing has not spread to more and more Christian educational institutions, he indicated that there has been a general move away from solid exegetical work. He added, “The best way to learn arcing is by life-coaching, seeing it modeled, and seeing the enthusiasm that comes from discovering glorious truths in God’s Word.”
