The President Is Coming to Bethlehem

In fact, several presidents are coming to Bethlehem this Sunday evening at the Downtown Campus for the Inaugural Convocation of Bethlehem College and Seminary. What presidents? Presidents (or their delegates) are coming from Wheaton College, Bethel University, Gordon-Conwell Theological Seminary, Northwestern College, Crossroads College, Crown College, Westminster Theological Seminary, North Central University, Fuller Seminary, Covenant Theological Seminary, Reformed Theological Seminary, and The Southern Baptist Theological Seminary.

Academics will be in full academic regalia for the 7:00pm processional. Platform guests include Dr. John Piper and Dr. Al Mohler, who will present the keynote. Piper will be invested as Chancellor and Dr. Tim Tomlinson will be invested as President of Bethlehem College and Seminary. The public is invited. A reception follows.

The preparation of future spiritual leaders who faithfully handle the scriptures is an important priority for the Church. Bethlehem College and Seminary aims to develop the skills and biblical worldview of students, faculty, staff, and the world in the strength God supplies.
