who satisfies you with good so that your youth is renewed like the eagle’s. The LORD works righteousness and justice for all who are oppressed. He made known his ways to Moses, his acts to the people of Israel.
New Weekly Worship Service Downtown
Blessed are those who dwell in the house of the LORD, ever singing his praise! —Psalm 84:4
The Bethlehem elders have approved a plan to launch a weekly service at 5:00pm on Sunday nights at the Downtown Campus. It launches on September 19. All are welcome:
Come join us in praising God together!
Like our others services, the Sunday Night Service aims to be vertical in corporate worship, but there is some added intentionality on Sunday nights for building community before and after the service. Join us for good coffee and pastries at 4:30pm, and plan to stay afterward for fellowship. Nursery care for birth–3 years will be provided once sufficient help is in place. At that time, Nursery availability will be announced in the Star. (Interested in volunteering? We would love for you to help in the Nursery! Read more.)
Starting a new service means new opportunities for ministering to each other. Contact Benjamin Jensen, Bethlehem College and Seminary Apprentice, at sns@hopeingod.org, with your questions or to volunteer. We have fresh needs for nursery workers, greeters, ushers, check-in kiosk workers, and food set-up/preparation.
(Note: Amendment made at the end of August 31 post.)
