“Ministry is war. It is fought on the turf of your heart. Ministry is a glory war. Inferior glories compete with the most glorious glory. Glory-shift is a continual risk.”

“The ultimate purpose of the word of God is the glory of God accomplished through the worship of God.”
“What is the serpent selling in the garden? 1) autonomy 2) self-sufficiency.”

“In contrast with physical blindness, spiritual blindness is blind to its blindness, thinking it is seeing.”
