Holding the Ropes for Global Partners

Just in from some Bethlehem Global Partners serving in Central Africa ...

This morning Jacob woke up with a small headache and fever. By 9:00am he was feeling very sick and took a malaria test. Though he has been taking a preventive medication, he tested positive for one of the more serious types of malaria. Thankfully, we were able to get some medicine. We are praying that the Lord will bring him some relief and healing.

So we do not lose heart. Though our outer nature is wasting away our inner nature is being renewed day by day. For this slight and momentary affliction is preparing for us an eternal weight of glory beyond comparison, as we look not to the things that are seen but to the things that are unseen. For the things that are seen are transient, but the things that are unseen are eternal.—2 Corinthians 4:16–18

Please pray that we will not lose heart and that He will lift our heads to meditate on the things that are unseen.

With much thankfulness for standing with us,

Sonja B.
