Support the "Rope-Holders" for Missions

Andrew Fuller said that William Carey's mission to India seemed like a few men who considered going into a deep, unexplored mine.

Muriel Dunnette is a rope-holder at Bethlehem. She tells of an upcoming opportunity to join her and other rope-holders:

I always look forward to Bethlehem's Holiday Craft Boutique.  The varied talents represented by those of you who create items for sale is just amazing.  It is an event that I love inviting friends and family to attend because I know they will find well made, affordable items in an atmosphere that is festive and welcoming.

I have had the privilege of representing Camelsback Trading every year since this boutique began.  As the mother of a son who serves as a "tent maker" in south Asia, I get a chance to share with you inexpensive exotic treasures from the other side of the globe.  I get to work shoulder to shoulder with my son's Barnabus support team who has faithfully and cheerfully hauled heavy boxes of marble and onyx book ends, vases, chess sets, goblets, candle holders, hand embroidered cards and leather guitar straps for you to choose from.  I get to tell you about some of the men and women who have created these items, I get to greet old friends, update you on my son's ministry......and I get to show you this year's picture of my grandchildren.

I just love it when I purchase a gift at the sale and I know that I am not only finding just the perfect gift for a loved one and by doing so I am also supporting a missionary or a ministry.   There are many of us at the sale who represent such a cause. Thank you to the loyal bunch of you who feel the same way and who stop by every year to purchase your annual marble gifts. We look forward to seeing new customers as well.
