Mary Kassian to speak at the 2013 Women's Spring Conference
Now is the Time ... Be Doers of the Word
April 26/27, 2013
We live in a world that is spinning out of control, and we believe that “now is the time” to get serious about being anchored in our faith! Mary Kassian will be our guest speaker for this conference.
Mary is a long-time friend of Bethlehem who shares our deep burden that women understand what it means to live biblically – a calling that is radically counter-cultural. Mary served with Pastor John on the Council for Biblical Manhood and Womanhood and helped to coin the term “complementarianism.” In addition to being a wife and mom, she is a distinguished professor at Southern Baptist Seminary in Lousiville, Kentucky, an award winning author, internationally renowned speaker, and has published several books, Bible studies and videos, including: Girls Gone Wise, In My Father’s House: Finding Your Heart’s True Home, Conversation Peace, Vertically Inclined, and the Feminist Mistake. Mary has appeared on numerous radio and television shows, including Focus on the Family, Family Life Today, and Marriage Uncensored.
Our hope and prayer is that you will be spiritually nourished as Mary teaches from the Word of God. We also desire that this conference will provide an opportunity for you to enjoy covenant community with one another and to be refreshed, away from the responsibilities of home, family, and the workplace. Please join us for this special weekend.

We love children and believe each one is a gift from the Lord. We also believe that God wants us to focus our hearts on Him during the conference. In an effort to help you, and others, to fully enter in and participate in the conference, we are asking women to make arrangements to leave their babies and children home for this focused time away. Children, including infants, will not be allowed in the sanctuary. However, we will be able to provide limited accommodations for mothers of nursing infants who are not able to make other arrangements. These accommodations will be by reservation only – as long as there is space available. If you are interested in reserving a spot in the nursing mother’s room, please indicate that on your registration form. Someone will contact you to confirm your registration.
