His word my hope secures.

I have been meditating on the wonderful grace of Jesus and the infinitely amazing blessings we have in Christ. How do we KNOW these beautiful truths and rest in them? Through being in the Word of God and trusting in His promises.

Sweet-sight:

Amazing Grace, how sweet the sound,
That saved a wretch like me....
I once was lost but now am found,
Was blind, but now, I see.
Shattered-fear:
T'was Grace that taught...
my heart to fear.
And Grace, my fears relieved.
How precious did that Grace appear...
the hour I first believed.
Safe-travel:

Through many dangers, toils and snares...
we have already come.
T'was Grace that brought us safe thus far...
and Grace will lead us home.

Secured-hope:Our Living Hope
The Lord has promised good to me...
His word my hope secures.
He will my shield and portion be...
as long as life endures.

Oh, women of Bethlehem. We need to be in His Word. It is our source of hope. It is our anchor in stormy times. The Word of God is indeed our Living Hope.

It is not too late to join a Fall Bible study; we have a few openings left. Please email Pam Larson or call 612.338.7653 x472 to register.
