My son, keep your father’s commandment, and forsake not your mother’s teaching. Bind them on your heart always; tie them around your neck.
Instruments in the Redeemer's Hands

Instruments in the Redeemer's Hands is a book we have used and relied on much across our ministries at Bethlehem. It has influenced how we train leaders, counsel people in need, and teach our children.
The book is a wonderful collection of biblical insight, real life examples, and personal application that help us approach the sin in our lives and others' with a genuine hope for real, lasting transformation.
Tripp opens Instruments this way, "That is what this book is about: how God uses people, who are themselves in need of change, as instruments of the same kind of change in others. This book's goal is not just that people's lives would be changed as they give help and receive it. The goal is to help change the church's very culture."
Whether you are leading a small group at Bethlehem or just an active member of one, we encourage you to pick up a resource like Instruments and work through it. It will give you a system of Scripture, questions, and practical principles that will inform and guide your care for one another.
So we, though many, are one body in Christ, and individually members of one another.—Romans 12:5
