Recent precinct caucuses in Minnesota, and the prospect of a presidential election in the Fall accompanied by a ballot issue regarding an amendment on the definition of marriage means that politics is a common subject in everyday conversation.
Bethlehem elders recently updated our church’s policy on political activity in, through, and around the church. Ecclesiastes teaches us that there is a time for everything. That includes political involvement. This document attempts to give contours to the appropriate times and ways to be involved.
