My son, keep your father’s commandment, and forsake not your mother’s teaching. Bind them on your heart always; tie them around your neck.
Seven Ideas for Not Wasting Your Christmas Holidays

Students will have time off from school, banks and businesses will close, and various government functions will take leave for a period of time during the holidays, thereby freeing up students and others for something else. What could that “something else” be?
Here are seven ideas:
- Read a worthwhile book you have been meaning to read.
- Write a Letter to the Editor about something that would please Jesus.
- Work out. Buffet your body.
- Write a meaningful letter to a loved one affirming important things you believe.
- Invent a new health drink using a blender and holiday fruit.
- Write a Christmas poem or hymn.
- Feast and fast unto God.
