The blog posts on August 2 and August 3 shined light on “melodious sonnets” and invited readers to try their hand at writing one.
Now something else poetic has developed. Above the drinking fountain on the fourth floor of Bethlehem’s Downtown Campus, a haiku board has appeared. People are posting their creations on Post-It notes.
This is an invitation to get in on the challenge.
Write a Christ-exalting haiku (three lines, alternating 5 syllables, 7 syllables, and 5 syllables) and we’ll post it on the wall for you. Send your submissions to Bryan DeWire.
