My son, keep your father’s commandment, and forsake not your mother’s teaching. Bind them on your heart always; tie them around your neck.
Last Call for 2011
As of today (December 30, 2011), Bethlehem contributions are still about $500K under where we'd like to be to meet anticipated 2011 expenses (another $225K has come in since Sunday).
If we end the year without much more in contributions, the implications for the 2012 fiscal year will be a hard pill to swallow. God is good, whether our pills are hard to swallow or they go down like a spoonful of jam.
Individuals can view a record of their 2011 giving via Bethlehem’s online giving. For IRS purposes, contributions must be postmarked by midnight, December 31. If people have questions about making stock gifts, or any other financial matter, they can reach Paul Johnson, the church Financial Secretary, at 763-689-9327 or p11333@aol.com.
Yes, this is a straightforward appeal for giving. Please give. But it is undergirded by the assumption that people are praying for God to get honor for himself providing for the ministries of Bethlehem.
Thanks for praying.
