For a day in your courts is better than a thousand elsewhere. I would rather be a doorkeeper in the house of my God than dwell in the tents of wickedness. For the LORD God is a sun and shield; the LORD bestows favor and honor. No good thing does he withhold from those who walk uprightly. [O LORD of hosts, blessed is the one who trusts in you!]
Joyce Heinrich, 10 Years
Thousands of babies have been prayed over in the nurseries superintended by Joyce on all three campuses during the past decade. Shortly after her husband, Bob, died of cancer, she applied for the job of nursery coordinator, and her interview stands out as one of the most remarkably God-centered, hope-filled, and grief-stricken all at once. Those who know her know that I speak here of a beautiful woman with a tremendous faith-filled spirit.
Where do you think all those baby announcements during weekend services come from? Joyce.
Suggestion: Flood her mailbox with expressions of thanks to God for her life, her ministry, and the difference she makes in the strength God supplies.
This coming Saturday night there will be a celebration in her honor.
