My son, keep your father’s commandment, and forsake not your mother’s teaching. Bind them on your heart always; tie them around your neck.
Hidden in Plain View

Chameleons are known for changing their appearance in order to remain unseen in their environment, even though they may be perched in plain view.

Designers of security measures have picked up the idea of camouflage, applying it in everything from military garb to hunting wear to money boxes constructed in the shape of books, soup cans, and picture frames.
Parables are the same way. Truth is laying there in plain view, but only for those who have eyes to see it. It’s “concealed” from others.
Lord, grant me eyes to see.
