Perhaps the most distinguished aspect of the Good News Festival & Clinic is the relationship between advocate and guest.

All guests who arrive at the Festival are assigned to an advocate whose sole responsibility is to befriend them with the love of Christ and guide them through the clinic experience. The advocate helps with paperwork, assists in navigating the building, and most important, shares the gospel with the guest. Advocates also follow up with their guests and work toward getting them discipled and connected to the church—engaging them with the gospel of grace for the glory of their heavenly Advocate.

Each event in 2011 (June 29, August 31 & October 29) had 30–45 advocates serving and sharing the gospel with our Minneapolis neighbors. The July 26 Star article highlights the story of one guest being drawn to Christ through the continued witness of her advocate.
