In a Disagreement With Someone

All disagreements occur only because one or more parties in the disagreement are at least partially in error.

Because I am not God, that erring party may be me. Therefore, when in a disagreement I should conduct myself humbly, for I may be wrong on the issue—and arrogance about it would be doubly wrong.
