Indeed he was ill, near to death. But God had mercy on him, and not only on him but on me also, lest I should have sorrow upon sorrow. I am the more eager to send him, therefore, that you may rejoice at seeing him again, and that I may be less anxious.
Calling All MOMS!
Online registration for MOMS is officially open! Make plans now to join us at one of Bethlehem's three campuses for our Fall Kickoff meeting on September 20th.
MOMS stands for Making Our Mothering Significant. You are invited to join us as we gather together on the 1st and 3rd Tuesday mornings of each month (September-May) from 9:30-11:30 am. Each meeting includes a brunch buffet, fellowship and prayer time, and encouraging words from a special speaker. For the past several years, we have been focusing on the fruits of the Spirit. Our theme for 2011-2012 is "self-control" and the verse comes from Titus.
For the grace of God has appeared, bringing salvation for all people, training us to renounce ungodliness and worldly passions, and to live self-controlled, upright, and godly lives in the present age.—Titus 2:11-12
Throughout the year, we'll cover topics like:
- Wise Decision-Making
- Budgeting and Frugality
- Health and Wellness
- and more--all from a Biblical perspective
MOMS is not just for mothers of preschoolers. If you are hoping to be a mother someday or even if you are an experienced grandmother, you will be blessed by this ministry. Limited childcare is available, so sign up early!
