Japan Earthquake Response

A massive 8.9 magnitude earthquake hit the Pacific Ocean nearby Northeastern Japan at around 2:46pm on March 11 (JST) causing damage with blackouts, fire and tsunami. We thank God that Bethlehem's four global partners in Japan are safe, and they would value our prayers as they reach out to their communities.
Our church’s Global Diaconate task force is actively communicating with many regarding possible responses. We recognize the great devastation in the country and also the reality that Japan has many resources.
We would encourage those who would like to give to consider the agencies that have sent our global partners.
These organizations are all accepting donations to help support the local church in Japan to reach out in this time of need.
