Birth of a New School

One of Bethlehem’s global partners is serving in a Muslim area in Central Asia. He has recognized the need in his town for education and for projects that depend on local initiative, effort, and risk. Things have come together in an opportunity for him to work with local leadership to start a school. The school aims to service students from the first through twelfth grade, as well as provide extra- curricular instruction in English, computers and other subjects for additional students. The project is designed to be self-sustainable within three years. Tying love for the community with their love for Jesus, we pray that there will be fresh openings for Gospel breakthroughs. The Global Diaconate has enabled Bethlehem to strategically help with start-up funds for this school.
