To the contrary, “if your enemy is hungry, feed him; if he is thirsty, give him something to drink; for by doing so you will heap burning coals on his head.” Do not be overcome by evil, but overcome evil with good.
Updates: Sept 12 Connection & Sept 23 Sunday School
Downtown Wednesday Kids Connection classes (for Preschool–Grade 12) are delayed. The Christ-Centered Parenting Class Downtown, Parenting Wounded Children, and Children's Choirs Downtown will also delay pending the start of these classes. We hope to begin September 19 if fully staffed. We still need 8 more people to serve. South families are encouraged to join the Downtown Connection when it begins. (NOTE: Adventure Girls grades 5–6 and grades 7–9 will begin Sept 12.)
North Wednesday Kids Connection classes (for Preschool–Grade 12) and Children's Choirs North WILL begin September 12 as scheduled. We can begin because elders and others have generously offered to “stand in the gap” temporarily until the remaining volunteers come in. We need 4–5 more people to serve long-term. (NOTE: North Adult classes will be suspended until Sept 19 so that all may attend the session with Jim Ballentine. Details below.)
Sunday School for Preschool–Grade 12 is scheduled to begin September 23 if we are fully staffed—join us at the Parent Orientation and Sunday School Open House on Sunday, September 16, to find out more. South is ready to go with the exception of the need for another female Sr High Mentor. Downtown still needs at least 8 more people and North needs about 20 more people by noon Thursday, September 13, in order to start as scheduled.
