I want you to know, brothers, that what has happened to me has really served to advance the gospel, so that it has become known throughout the whole imperial guard and to all the rest that my imprisonment is for Christ. And most of the brothers, having become confident in the Lord by my imprisonment, are much more bold to speak the word without fear.
South Campus Property Acquisition
Here is a message Pastor David Livingston sent to the Bethlehem South Campus members and regular attenders Friday afternoon. (See photos below letter.) Let us praise God with them ...
Dear South Family!
Please join the South Site Search Committee and me in raising our hands in thanks to God for the acquisition of land on which to build a permanent South Campus!
At noon today (Friday), we walked onto the 12.1 acres of land at County Road 70 and Interstate 35, where we posed for pictures in front of the auction sign; then we circled up to praise our Lord in prayer and song for granting us success. In just two short rounds of bidding and negotiation, the sellers agreed to a purchase price of $760,362. So, we are now looking forward to a closing date of June 19, 60 days from yesterday at which time the property will officially belong to Bethlehem Baptist Church!
Klaas Van Zee, the chairman of the search committee (along with his committee men Ron Vrieze and Jon Hendricks) is ecstatic that the 3+ years’ process of seeking a South home has nearly come to a conclusion with this excellent piece of property and at such remarkable price. Would you join us in gratitude to God as well as by playing a generous part in the TCT “Building One People” fund drive so that we go over the top with cash to spare in our goal of spreading a passion for the supremacy of God in all things for the joy of all peoples through Jesus Christ!
