Sanctity of Life Focus (January 18–27)

During our Sanctity of Life focus, join us as we demonstrate that we value the sanctity of life and that we want to protect the unborn. This weekend (January 21/21), Pastor John's sermon will be on the Sanctity of Life.

January 18, Sanctity of Life focus at Wednesday Connection

Following a time of worship, the Downtown and South campuses will have a Sanctity of Life presentation (North Campus presentation will be geared for high school-aged students):

Downtown, 6:15pm: Pastor Kenny Stokes will speak on “The Sanctity of Life of the Pre-Born”
South, 6:30pm: Caroline Jones from Amnion Crisis Pregnancy Center will be speaking.
North, 6:50pm: Senior High will hear presentation on the Sanctity of Life with New Life’s Jennifer Meade

Saturday & Sunday, January 21/22

Sermon will be on the Sanctity of Life, and empty baby bottles (for collecting change) for New Life Family Services and Amnion Crisis Pregnancy Center will be handed out at all services.

Sunday, January 22: March for Life

• Bundle up to ride the buses to the state capital for the March for Life, 2–3pm.
• A light lunch will be provided for those coming from the 11am service at all 3 campuses (South campus attenders meet at the 501 Bldg).
• Buses leave at 1:25pm and arrive back at 3:30pm

January 25, Downtown Wednesday Connection

Downtown, 6:15pm: Following a time of worship, the Downtown Campus Adults and Senior High will hear about “The Sanctity of Life of Those With Disabilities,” from John Knight.

Friday, January 27, 7–8:30 pm, North and Downtown: Bloodmoney

Come and learn more about what is happening behind the doors at abortion clinics through the video Bloodmoney. Dr. Alveda King (niece of Dr. Martin Luther King) narrates this stunning documentary.

Note: On February 12 the North college class will have a Sanctity of Life presentation, and on February 19, the Downtown college class will have a Sanctity of Life presentation.
