Prayer Week 2012 (January 1–8)

Prayer Week Opportunities & Schedule: January 1–8, 2012

Our annual emphasis on prayer begins New Year's Day. Consider taking advantage of this week to focus on prayer by coming before the Lord and enhancing your prayer life through one or more of the following ways:

• Pick up a Prayer Guide and follow along in the Prayer Week devotional readings. In addition to a daily meditation and hymn, see prayer requests for specific spheres of Bethlehem’s ministries.
• Hear Pastor Bud Burk’s sermon on Prayer Dec 31/Jan 1 (see sermons online).
• Consider purchasing this year's Prayer Week pastoral book recommendation:
 A Praying Life, by Paul Miller (highlighted in the Prayer Guide). This title is available through Jan 8 for a discount at the Bethlehem Bookstore.
• Come for the morning and special midday prayer meetings listed below (including the Jan 3 First Tuesday Fast, 12:30–1:30pm).
• Join us for the Fighter Verse Kick-Off on Wednesday, January 4, Downtown.
• Set aside Friday night, January 6, for the All Night of Prayer:
  Friday, January 6, 10pm, through Saturday, January 7, 5am; Downtown Campus
  Come for part or all of this evening of prayer. Hear the heartbeat of pastors and leaders at Bethlehem. Plead with them for God's hand to move in remarkable ways in 2012, to spread his glory.
