All-Church Quarterly Strategy Meeting Report
October 30, members approved an elder recommendation to remove a woman from membership as an act of loving church discipline. Then, we embraced a gospel-laden testimony from Rich Goodwin who was reinstated to good standing. Rich expressed gratitude for the church's care in putting him under church discipline years ago, and testified to Christ's work in drawing him back. He has been attending another church where he is pursuing membership.

Treasurer Scott Rebney reported that contributions through the 3rd Quarter were behind what they were in 2010. If we spend the same amount in the 4th Quarter as we did last year, and if we receive the same amount of contributions in the 4th Quarter of 2011 as the 4th Quarter of 2010, then we will end 2011 with a deficit of $138K in Church & Missions. Pray for at least a 5% growth in 4th Quarter giving so that we can finish in the black.

Klaas Van Zee and Pastor Kenny Stokes brought a South Site selection update. The South Funding request was approved to shift TCT funds that had previously been approved for Jurel Way to be available to pursue other property and or facilities for a South Campus.

Pastor Kenny also announced that Erik Hyatt has been accepted into the TCT Church Planting Residency with an aim to plant a multi-ethnic church in the Twin Cities. Erik will resign from his position as Pastor for Global Outreach, effective December 31, 2011, and begin the residency in January 2012.

Steven Stein, Elder, and Ken Currie, Lead Pastor for Outreach, are presently leading a committee aiming to identify and install a new pastor in Erik's place by January. Pray for the Hyatt Family and the search committee—for God's wisdom in this transition.

Dan Lehn reported on a recent demolition project on 7th Street, next to the Downtown Campus.
