2011 All-Church Annual Meeting Report, Part 1 of 3

Since the all-church Annual Meeting on December 18 had a full agenda, with several votes, updates from elder sub-committees, and a presentation of the 2012 Church & Missions budget (members will vote on the budget in January), this Updates Blog report on the meeting will be broken down into multiple posts.


Report on Elder Affirmations & Reaffirmations and Staff Appointments

December 18, members voted to affirm Jon Hendricks as a new South Campus elder.

Members also voted to re-affirm the following vocational elders on the pastoral staff for another 3-year term:

• Sam Crabtree
• Ken Currie
• Jon Grano
• Tom Steller

To re-affirm the following non-vocational elders for a second 3-year term (first term ends 12/31/2011):

• Keith Anderson
• Tim Johnson
• Yoshi Kasahara
• Tom Lutz
• David Mathis
• Paul Poteat
• Tim Schroeder

To re-affirm the following non-elder pastoral/ministerial staff for another 3-year term:

• Mary Delk
• Joyce Heinrich
• Sally Michael
• Brad Nelson

To elect the following people to another one-year term at Bethlehem:

• Paul Johnson, Financial Secretary
• Scott Rebney, Treasurer
• Sarah DeWire, Church Clerk

Members also approved a ministerial license being issued to Brett Toney.

Note: The following non-vocational elders will end their second term on 12/31/2011 and are required to take at least one year off of the council beginning in 2012. Join us in thanking the Lord for their faithful service.
