See what kind of love the Father has given to us, that we should be called children of God; and so we are. The reason why the world does not know us is that it did not know him. [Beloved, we are God’s children now, and what we will be has not yet appeared; but we know that when he appears we shall be like him, because we shall see him as he is.]
Oh sing to the LORD a new song; sing to the LORD, all the earth!
The Songwriting ministry at Bethlehem is a vehicle for exploring and bringing to our local body fresh expressions of God's glory and Christ's supremacy in song. We currently use a number of songs written by Bethlehem members for corporate worship, small group meetings, and other gatherings of the body. Visit the "Songs" area in our Resources.
Works written and/or arranged by people from Bethlehem include ...
- original songs
- arrangements of public domain hymns.
Our Songs are available, free of charge, to Bethlehem Baptist Church campuses, small group and Sunday School leaders, churches in the Treasuring Christ Together network, and all others who can benefit from them.
If you're interested in Bethlehem's Songwriting ministry or have questions, contact Jason French, Pastor for Worship & Music South South Campus, (612-746-2650 x652).
Our bi-monthly songwriters meeting is an opportunity to build relationships with others honing their craft by sharing and critiquing one another's songs. Visit our calendar for upcoming songwriting events.
From time to time we have specific events and/or guest songwriters to share their knowledge and experience with us in a seminar format. Past guest lecturers include Bob Kauflin and Keith & Kristyn Getty.
