Here are some ways you can participate in our instrumental ministry:
Bethlehem Downtown Orchestra
- The orchestra plays in the Downtown worship services once a month and in seasonal concerts throughout the year. Brass, string, woodwind, and percussion players are invited to participate.
- The orchestra is open to adults (age 18 & above) who have at least a high school-level of playing ability. New musicians are welcome throughout the year. If you would like to join or receive more information, contact our orchestra director, Aaron Jameson.
- Rehearsals are twice a month on Monday evenings from 7–9pm in the Downtown Sanctuary (September–May). A detailed schedule is given to all orchestra members.
North Campus Instrumentalists
- Instrumentalists of all kinds participate in worship services at the North Campus as soloists or as part of brass, string, and woodwind ensembles. Individuals and groups play throughout the year.
- Rehearsal times vary depending on the group and the services in which they are playing.
Strings in Service
- Strings in Service contributes to the worship services at our three campuses and periodic community outreach opportunities by playing praise-song and hymn arrangements on violin, viola, cello, and bass.
- The group is open to all ages from beginning Suzuki preschoolers to adults.
