My son, keep your father’s commandment, and forsake not your mother’s teaching. Bind them on your heart always; tie them around your neck.
I am not ashamed of the gospel, for it is the power of God for salvation to everyone who believes.—Romans 1:16

How Can You Participate?
Pray
First, we need your prayers. Please pray that many souls will be touched with the love of Jesus Christ and that disciples would be made through these outreaches.
Become an 'advocate'
Each guest will be assigned an advocate whose sole responsibility is to guide him or her through the clinic experience. The advocate helps with paperwork, assists in navigating the building, and most importantly, shares the gospel with the guest. Advocates will follow up with our guests and work toward getting them discipled and connected to the church.
The role of the advocate is essential to the ethos and effectiveness of the Good News Festival & Clinic. Through the advocate, the gospel can go forth to our neighbors before the event (canvassing), during the event, and afterward through the relationship that is built.
Advocate Training
Advocates will be trained before the outreach so they can better share the gospel and follow up with our guests. Training will take place on the following dates:
- Thursday, April 26, 7:00pm, in Room 52 at the Downtown Campus
- July, date TBD
- October, date TBD
Sunday School
In addition to Advocate Training, consider visiting Good News Fellowship Sunday School for more training in the gospel and evangelism.
Volunteer Your Time and Gifts
In addition to the role of the advocate, the Good News Festival & Clinic has many opportunities for you to serve our neighbors …
- Service professionals (medical, dental, ...)
- Set-up and tear-down helpers
- Greeters
- Meal servers
- Clothing sorters
- Prayer counselors
- Spanish-speaking volunteers
