Racial Harmony Roundtable

Campus & Location:
Downtown, 205

Join us this month as we hear from John & Jenny Kim, members at Bethlehem who are originally from South Korea. They will share about their journey to the U.S. and about the difference between the Christian culture in the U.S. and Korea.

We are committed to taking steps to express racial harmony visibly in and outside the church for the glory of Christ. The roundtable is designed as a gathering of all interested in gaining insight and making contributions to racial harmony at Bethlehem.

We seek to foster a growing understanding of issues and encouraging relationships that cross racial lines.

We believe communication is the key to any relationship that aims to be healthy, productive and, in this context, honoring to Christ. The hope is that all our dialogue will be open, honest and bathed in humility as the goal is not to “win” but to foster an atmosphere where cross-cultural relationships can build on understanding, not assumptions, and all to the glory of God and the joy of this fellowship.

Normally we meet on the third Saturday of the month. Note: Next month’s meeting has been moved from the 3rd Saturday to the 2nd  Saturday of the month, May 8.
