Our focus at the North Campus this year is “Raising Teens and Dealing With Family Conflict Biblically.” Under the leadership of our Lord Jesus Christ, we seek to be more humble, joyful, and confident parents. The aim of this class is to equip parents to understand the challenges and opportunities of the teenage years, and to provide instruction in biblical peacemaking. We do this through developing an authentic community where class members are encouraged in both the joys and struggles of parenting.

Our focus at the South Site this year is on parenting teens. Contrary to what society may tell us, the teenage years can be some of the most enjoyable and fulfilling years, for both parents and teens. Utilizing resources from Dr. Tim Kimmel and Dr. John Rosemond, we will walk together through Grace-Based Parenting, biblical manhood and womanhood, parenting the angry teens, helping our teens develop the right set of values, and raising children who will be “a delight to your soul” (Proverbs 29:17).

What Is Christ-Centered Parenting?

God has reconciled the world to himself through Jesus Christ, and we who claim allegiance to Christ have been entrusted with a “message” and a “ministry” of reconciliation (2 Corinthians 5:18–19). As Christian parents, our aim is to faithfully embrace this ministry and impart this message for the sake of our children.

Please join us at any time during the year, whether you’re currently in the throes of parenting a teen or simply want to be prepared when the time comes. This informative forum is an encouraging way to learn and grow together as parents.
