“A fresh vision for shepherding and discipling is getting increasing traction at Bethlehem. In recent months this has been a high priority for the pastoral staff. The upcoming training in Biblical Counseling is a Godsend at such a moment in the life of our church.

“Without minimizing the worth of professional counseling, or medical intervention-which some of us have benefitted from personally—we believe a more deeply trained body of believers, can become ‘Instruments in the Redeemer’s Hands,’ and be used by God for profound healing.

“The training that is coming to Bethlehem is the same church-based training that many of our people and our elders have been attending for several years. They bear witness with joy to the depth, and wisdom, and biblical faithfulness of these biblical counseling leaders. I pray that hundreds of people will take this training.”
—Pastor John Piper
