6. Facts:

a. A baby in the womb has DNA that is not solely the mother’s. It is like no DNA that ever existed before. Therefore the baby is a human; a separate, unique person.

b. Life begins at the instant of conception. All else is merely growth.

c. Since abortion was legalized for all nine months of pregnancy, more than 46 million people have been murdered in the womb in America. "Murder" is the correct term, as it is the taking of an innocent life.

d. The baby’s heart begins to beat 18–20 days after conception.

e. By 70 days after conception, the baby’s fingers are so well formed that they have fingerprints.

f. Babies can feel pain after spending just three months in the womb. Imagine your own pain as your body is ripped apart.

g. No excuse (e.g. "convenience") is sufficient for the murder of a child.

h. If a person murders a post-natal baby, he or she will be imprisoned for life. Preborn babies deserve the same protection.

i. Every hospital will accept a newborn within 72 hours with no questions asked.

j. New Life Family Services, Amnion Crisis Pregnancy Center, and other such organizations are fully equipped to provide pregnancy counseling, adoption placement services, and post-birth counseling.

k. The Social Security system is in trouble because there are not sufficient workers to pay into the system. If only half of those aborted since 1973 were working, there would be no problem.

l. In almost every case, there are serious psychological and emotional after-effects from abortion. These effects are manifest days or months later and can result in alcoholism, drug use, depression, inability to develop sound relationships, even suicide. Increasingly, men who favored an abortion are affected as well.
