September 1, 2009 TCT is our ongoing strategy to fulfill our mission through a multiplying movement of campuses, new churches, and a Global Diaconate, united by a common mission and founded on a common biblical life and doctrine.
North Campus Build-Out Update
Join us in praising God for the near completion of our North Campus in Mounds View. Construction started in early April and was substantially completed in mid-August. It includes the following:
- Middle-school-gym-sized multi-purpose room with flexible stage platform (will support events of up to 300 people and also basketball and volleyball courts)
- Large 200-plus-seat “triple-room” chapel (also configurable as three classrooms)
- Double classroom (for use as one large single room, or two medium-sized rooms)
- Large single classroom
- New kitchen for hosting large events
- New bookstore area
- New women’s bathroom area
- Second “Northwest Passage” back hallway (Hallway D) to connect new classrooms with the existing nursery area (Hallway B).
Nearly $1.16M has been received in TCT gifts to help pay for the expected $1.63M total project cost. We need to raise $650K in TCT funding by October 1 if we want to complete the project without incurring additional TCT campus fund debt:
- $130K (20%) for Church Planting and Global Diaconate
- $520K (80%) for Campusing:
- $50K for monthly mortgage payment
- $470K to fully fund project without debt
