TCT is our ongoing strategy to fulfill our mission through a multiplying movement of campuses, new churches, and a Global Diaconate, united by a common mission and founded on a common biblical life and doctrine.

Church Planting Update, July 2011

TCT Church Planting Network is being strengthened and nurtured with guidance from Steve Childers with Global Church Advancement (gca.cc). We are in the planning stages to develop regional and national networks to coach, train, and mentor our leadership teams in each of our TCT church plants.

Our goal is to further the planting of gospel-centered churches in the Twin Cities as well as across the US. Our hope is that the newly formed regional and national TCT networks will serve to provide care and support for the church planters as they advance the kingdom of God in their communities.

Mike Bartlett has completed the TCT Church Planting Residency program. He joyfully embraces the Bethlehem Elder Affirmation of Faith and our “10 Dimensions of Church Life.” Mike’s church planting proposal for Redemption City Church was reviewed and unanimously approved by the elders to become our 11th TCT church plant.

The elders voted to present Redemption City Church at the Quarterly Strategy Meeting for congregational approval July 24, 2011. The Bartletts have moved to Grand Rapids, Michigan, to begin their ministry this summer to follow God’s call into church planting.
