TCT is our ongoing strategy to fulfill our mission through a multiplying movement of campuses, new churches, and a Global Diaconate, united by a common mission and founded on a common biblical life and doctrine.
South Site Update
Having finished North, Bethlehem now turns to focus South. The South Site is growing and expanding. Here are some recent, exciting updates:
- In pursuit of a full-time campus for the South Site, a campus search committee has been formed from the South congregation. The committee, chaired by Klaas Van Zee with members Bruce Power and Marc Heinrich, is in consultation with the Lutheran High School Association about the possible purchase of Concordia Academy in East Bloomington.
- South Site worship services are seeing larger-than-ever numbers (more than 700 people each weekend for the last month)!
- As the South body grows, two new elders, Yoshi Kasahara and Tim Schroeder, have joined the Elder Council to aid in shepherding the South flock in particular.
- Through the Fall, a multi-faceted midweek Connection (along with an evening meal) has been held in the newly-leased suite adjacent to the South office.
- Now, as the Christmas season approaches, a choir is gathering for the 4:30pm South Christmas Eve service.
