Volunteer Opportunities at the Library
December 2011/January 2012
North Library Coordinator: This volunteer will oversee all north library operations and volunteers and also will be responsible for transporting reserved items to and from the campus libraries as needed.
- Administrative skills helpful
- Basic knowledge of how libraries work helpful
- Basic computer skills needed
Discerning Reader/Materials Evaluator: 1 to 2 people needed to evaluate unsolicited donations to determine whether they should be added to the library’s collection.
- You can do this at home
- You need to be discerning and reliable
- Evaluation Guidelines are provided to help you
