My son, keep your father’s commandment, and forsake not your mother’s teaching. Bind them on your heart always; tie them around your neck.
Treasuring Christ Together Church Planting Residency
Program Description: The Treasuring Christ Together (TCT) Church Planting Residency is a church planter training program. It is designed for called and qualified church planters to complete prior to full-time church planting work. The Residency aims to equip the resident by instilling in him the biblical convictions of Bethlehem’s Mission and Elder Affirmation of Faith and by providing opportunities to observe how these convictions are lived out in the life of the local church.
Time: The TCT Church Planting Residency is a full-time, one-year program based at Bethlehem Baptist Church, Minneapolis, MN. The program begins August 15 annually and ends August 14 of the following year.
Qualifications: Applicants are required to submit a completed application with personal and pastoral references. Preference will be given to applicants with pastoral ministry experience and to those having completed a Master of Divinity or similar theological degree program.
Process: Applicants will be screened, assessed and interviewed by the TCT Church Planting Committee. To apply, go to hopeinGod.org, under Outreach/Church Planting, and download the application and references.
Due Date: Applications for the Residency are due by February 15 of each year.
Support: Residents will receive a stipend of $25,000 disbursed monthly throughout the residency. The Resident will be responsible to raise at least $25,000 and up to $35,000 for additional salary support. Though we may be able to provide guidance, residents are responsible for their own health insurance.
Contact: Questions and requests for applications should be directed to… TCT Church Planting Residency, Bethlehem Baptist Church; 720 13th Ave S, Minneapolis, MN, 55415; 612-338-7653; tct@hopeinGod.org.
