My son, keep your father’s commandment, and forsake not your mother’s teaching. Bind them on your heart always; tie them around your neck.
Advent Calendar and Devotional
Instructions: Each day of Advent, read and discuss the scripture passage.
• Option 1: Provide a calendar page for each child. Your child can draw the appropriate picture on the appropriate square each day of Advent.
• Option 2: Use a large sheet of paper to draw calendar grid marks. Provide appropriate-sized paper squares for your child to draw the appropriate picture. Glue the picture on the appropriate square. (If you have more than one child, just stack the pages and staple them together in calendar fashion before gluing the bottom picture to the calendar; rotate whose picture is on top.)
