Wanted: Titus 2 Mentors

Published by: Pam Larson
August 21, 2014

We are aware of the command and the great need to pass on to the next generation a legacy of biblical womanhood.

Older women likewise are to be reverent in behavior, not slanderers or slaves to much wine. They are to teach what is good, and so train the young women to love their husbands and children, to be self-controlled, pure, working at home, kind, and submissive to their own husbands, that the word of God may not be reviled.—Titus 2:3–5

‘Breeders: A Subclass of Women?’

Published by: Sam Crabtree
August 18, 2014

Earlier this month, the groundbreaking Breeders: A Subclass of Women? produced by The Center for Bioethics & Culture, was shown at Bethlehem’s Downtown Campus and was followed by Q&A with the filmmakers—Jennifer Lahl and Matthew Eppinette—and one of the women whose story was featured in the documentary.

Surrogacy. It can be a beautiful thing, but it faces many ethical challenges.

‘You Just Don’t Understand: Women and Men in Conversation’

In her book by that title, Dr. Deborah Tannen says …

“I am joining the growing dialogue on gender and language because the risk of ignoring differences is greater than the danger of naming them. Sweeping them under the rug doesn’t make it go away; it trips you up and sends you sprawling.”
