At the Racial Harmony Round Table recently, Rev. Dr. John Mayer reported that the Hennepin County Medical Center (HCMC) translates medical services into 216 languages. The nations, peoples, tribes, and tongues have come here. We have a global gospel opportunity without even getting on an airplane.

By the way, on a related note, Mayer also reported that the Twin Cities have more Hmong gangs than Hmong churches.

Joe & Julie Kreckelberg have taught the budget portion of Bethlehem’s Pre-Marriage class for as long as I have been on staff here (1997). More than teaching the class, they have met with individual families and couples to work on monetary matters, contentment issues, principles of frugality & generosity, and self-discipline aimed at helping people glorify God by living within the means he has supplied. Joe is also a profound help to the Helping Hand committee that assists Bethlehem folks in financial crisis.

Pastor John has said that the Maundy Thursday service is perhaps the most beautiful of the church year. Consider attending this "service of darkness" at your campus at 7:45pm.

Since there is only one service per location, be sure to come early, park far, and sit close.
