What Is Important to Us?

Our earnest desire and prayer is to develop Christ-honoring and loving, practical expressions of these values in everyday life.

Relationships
We value our relationships in our life together. We want to find authentic and practical ways to love each other in order to build friendships and strengthen our faith. God is greatly glorified when love for one another runs high.

Spiritual Atmosphere
We also value Bethlehem's spiritual atmosphere. Because we believe that right thinking fosters right living, we want to emphasize individual and corporate Bible study and prayer. We desire teachable hearts that are earnest, intense, and passionate about the things of God.

The World Outside
We want to keep in mind the larger Christian movement and world outside of Bethlehem. That is why we have set in place initiatives to pursue things like foreign missions, racial harmony, and global relief.

Corporate Worship
We also care deeply about corporate worship. Our corporate gatherings are a vital and life-giving way to magnify the supremacy of Christ. We want both our hearts and our minds to be engaged during worship, so we pursue fervent, biblical, Spirit-anointed, God-exalting, personally-helpful preaching.
