Training and Fellowship on Sunday Mornings

In addition to worshiping in the sanctuary with the entire congregation, we encourage people to serve and participate in other areas of body life -- working in the nursery, teaching children, ushering, and singing in the choir are just a few of the many examples. Another very important way to participate further in the body and to receive biblical teaching is to attend adult Sunday school, a mid-sized group that allows for more connecting than the large group worshiping in the sanctuary.

Bethlehem offers several classes to grow in the grace and knowledge of Jesus Christ in a systematic way through adult Sunday school classes and children's Sunday school classes. We also have other means of training available through the course of the year which we encourage you to participate in.

The main thing about adult Sunday school is not only systematic learning, but the opportunity to connect with a mid-sized group, fostering a sense of belonging and mutual care. The small community togetherness provides a great context for a guided discussion of a Scripture.
