Parenting Ministries

The Bible consistently and explicitly gives the primary responsibility for teaching children to their parents. Nursery, child and youth programs in a church can help, strengthen, confirm, and reinforce what parents are teaching, but they will never be the primary or substantial influence on our children. Parenting ministries seeks to come along side parents in that role, not to take it from them. To that end we offer classes, seminars, and retreats to help parents grow in their call to raise children who will love Jesus and desire to spread his fame to everyone that they meet.

Parenting is a part of the Family Discipleship Department which exists to raise a generation of Christ-exalting, God-glorifying, Bible-saturated, truth-driven, doctrinally-grounded, faith-filled, God-centered, mission-minded, justice-pursuing, God-fearing, Christ treasuring, joyfully self-forgetting, passion-spreading, spiritually-fruitful men and women who themselves are committed to nurturing the faith of the next generation and are devoted to spreading a passion for the supremacy of God in all things for the joy of all peoples through Jesus Christ.
